Learn practical massage techniques from a licensed massage therapist. For singles, couples or caregivers.

This hands-on, clothes-on workshop is designed for people who want to massage a loved on but don't know where to start; maybe it's a partner who works at a computer screen all day or a student who carries a heavy backpack to school or a senior who needs touch therapy for emotional and mental wellness. This class can help.
In this educational practicum, you'll learn:
Emily Hellesen, LMT, leads this workshop. Emily is licensed by the State Medical Board of Ohio, working on over 1600+ clients over the last 8 years. Her focus is on medical massage, pain therapies and energy techniques that create an environment for client's to heal themselves. With a degree in Civil Engineering from Penn State, she combines an analytical approach with a precision touch. As she says, "The Heart of a Healer, the Hands of an Engineer."
The workshop is divided into three sections: 30 min for lecture, 30 min to work on a paired partner and 30 min for you partner to work on you. Bring a partner or connect with a partner in class. Registrants must be 21 years of age or older and in reasonable health to get up on a massage table and work on a person's skin. Wear loose, comfortable clothing. No previous experience necessary.
Pre-pay registration only. Registration is transferable but not refundable.
