Hello Kristina! - Here are the ideas for my drum design in henna. Thought it would be easier to view the images on a website. Hope it makes sense.
I'm looking for a design that represents the concept of a sea turtle dragon. The sea turtle head and feet and shell are the frame for a yin yang dragon with henna flair all around. In a perfect scenario, the drum would be filled completely and the pattern would only be visible as you looked closely.
I tried to find graphical pics to make it easier. But the final product would be in your henna flair. In other words, I'm presenting an idea; but you're the artist and I'm looking for you to interpret the idea into a design. I'm not saying make a copy of these pics; I'm saying be inspired by them and come up with a design that appeals to your instincts.

I'm looking for this kind of a graphic blocking (I'm sure there is a better way to say that in your profession, but hope you get it.). But with more of your circles and flair to show images with circular strokes instead of sharp lines.
Unlike this dragon, looking for a dragon that has wings, a pointed arrow tail, claws, no whiskers, no horns, and his mouth closed. Can be smiling, but mouth closed. |
I see the design as a circle inside the shell with a yin yang pattern and opening spiral inside their Heart space. Here are the images I found:
